In addition to being Silgan Unicep’s headquarters, Spokane, Washington, has a strong basketball culture and is known as Hoop Town USA. Silgan Unicep embraced the culture of our community by holding our first-ever employee Brackets for Better event!
All Silgan Unicep employees could participate by selecting their brackets for the March Madness tournament. Participation was free, and the winner received bragging rights and a donation in their name to a Silgan Unicep-approved charity.
Many of our employees participated, but this year’s winner was Kris from accounting. Kris selected Inland NW Land Conservatory for this year’s donation.
