Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor- Spokane, WA

The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the coordination, maintenance, and repair of the manufacturing equipment on the production floor. They will manage a team of Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians to execute these tasks.
Location: Spokane, WA
Wage: $65,000 to $75,000 a year

Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversee and complete the documentation for all new machine set ups
  • Assignment of work to Maintenance Technicians as well as oversight of that work to ensure completion of tasks
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve machine downtime and set-up/ teardown / changeover efficiency
  • Write troubleshooting guides as needed
  • Maintain machinery for all production operations
  • Sustain awareness of production schedules and needs
  • Monitor production equipment to ensure a quality product
  • Comply with all procedural requirements
  • Ensure that all Maintenance staff comply with all procedural requirements
  • Perform troubleshooting, adjustments, and preventative maintenance of production machinery
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Ensure equipment manuals and work instruction changes needed are properly elevated and communicated to Engineering
  • Follow guidelines to ensure machinery, room, and materials are in compliance with QSR/ISO requirements
  • Ensure Maintenance staff is fully up to date with required trainings
  • Identify and implement necessary documentation for compliance and works with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, OSHA and all other regulatory requirements, in accordance with company policy
  • Regular attendance
  • Adhere to company safety requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 years of manufacturing production experience
  • 2 years’ experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing facility preferred
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Prior experience in technical maintenance
  • Associate’s degree or certification in related field preferred
  • Knowledge of manufacturing product flows
  • Ability to recognize and adhere to quality standards
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
  • Ability to work independently with little instruction
  • Ability to work as part of a team to complete projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of cGMP and GDP regulations preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Good math skills


  • Frequently required to sit and walk.
  • Frequently required to walk up and down stairs.
  • Frequently required to talk and hear.
  • Required to stand 3-4 hours at a time
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (12kg).
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23 kg).
  • Fine motor control to grasp ad manipulate objects
  • Frequently required to bend at the waist and knees
  • Frequently required to reach
  • Vision ability including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Frequently required to work with products that contain chemicals or may contain hazardous materials. MSDS sheets are provided.
